Intercity joins new government framework
Company cements its position as an approved supplier on Technology Services 2 framework
Intercity Technology has secured its position as an official supplier on the Technology Services 2 government framework, highlighting its reputation as an established and trusted provider of public sector contracts.
The new framework has been designed to encourage and support public sector organisations in sourcing specialist IT services by enabling them to procure solutions directly from suppliers in confidence that they will deliver the highest standards of service. The Crown Commercial Service anticipates that this will save public sector organisations £180m over the course of four years by making it easier to procure IT services.
As a trusted Technology Services 2 supplier, the enterprise mobility and IT specialist will be supporting the government in delivering public sector transformation by offering end user services, operational management services, and technical management through the approved government framework.
Specifically, this will involve offering information and support management services to handle the queries and operational problems of customers, as well as monitoring the performance of their technology infrastructure. Intercity Technology will also provide its network infrastructure management services to public sector organisations via the approved procurement process.
The company has already been approved to offer its services on a number of government frameworks, including the Technology Products framework and Digital Marketplace.
Matt Johnson, Chief Technology Officer at Intercity Technology, said: “Our team has extensive experience in designing and implementing large-scale public sector projects for limited budgets, and are acutely aware of the needs and the challenges facing these organisations. Our addition to this framework further demonstrates our trusted reputation, talented team, and expertise across a broad range of IT solutions.
“This involvement, combined with the strength of our offering and our position on other government frameworks, will enhance our ability to support the government in delivering public sector transformation through technology.”
