Bolton NHS Foundation Trust has received £1,000 from Intercity Technology to help fund its baby memorial garden.
Andrew Jackson, CEO at Intercity, presented a cheque to Andy Lee, charitable fundraiser at the Trust at the company’s offices in Bolton.
The technology solutions company – which has a significant presence in the North West – is committed to giving back to the communities that it operates in, and the memorial garden was an initiative that all members of the company’s CSR committee felt strongly about. The garden is intended to provide space for families to remember babies whom have died at birth or during pregnancy.
Andrew said:
“It is so important for companies to dedicate time and resources to giving back to the local community. The memorial garden is something that will make a real difference to families that have been through incredibly difficult circumstances. We are very happy to be helping Bolton NHS Foundation Trust make its vision for the garden a reality.”
